Exciting opportunity for Operational Groups

The EU CAP Network is organising the EU CAP Network conference ‘EIP-AGRI Operational Groups: Innovation in practice’. This event will take place from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 May 2024 in Estoril, Portugal.

The conference will be organised in combination with the EIP-AGRI Innovation Awards for Operational Groups. The awards ceremony will form part of the conference programme.

We are looking for participants both for the conference and the awards! The deadline for both calls is 8 February 2024.

Conference ‘EIP-AGRI Operational Groups: Innovation in practice’

This conference will bring together the best of agricultural and rural innovation in Europe. It will highlight the successful implementation of the EIP-AGRI through Operational Groups (OGs) as one of its main building blocks, and provide opportunities to learn from this experience for the implementation of the next generation of projects under the CAP 2023-2027.

Representatives of OG projects are strongly advised to apply. In addition, we also welcome farmers’ organisations, advisors, innovation support service providers, Horizon thematic and advisory networks, researchers, Horizon National Contact Points, and organisations that can support the further use and upscaling of OG outcomes.

EIP-AGRI Innovation Awards 2024

The EIP-AGRI Innovation Awards celebrate the great variety of innovative OG projects and their achievements over the past eight years. The awards will recognise and reward outstanding EIP-AGRI OGs which have developed innovative practices, solutions, products and processes.

There are six award categories. Within each category, five OGs will be selected as nominees. From those nominees, one winner per category will receive an award. A seventh award will be given to the ‘public favourite’. The nominees and winners will be invited to showcase their projects at the awards ceremony.

Does your OG project demonstrate excellent and innovative practices, solutions, products or processes? Are they sustainable and replicable in other parts of Europe or other sectors? Do you want to gain significant European visibility for your project? Apply to the EIP-AGRI Innovation Awards before 8 February 2024!

Applications to the awards should be coordinated among OG project partners so that one single application per project is provided. The OG is considered as the applicant. Each OG project can apply to only one single category and must have concluded its activity or be in its final stages and already have concrete results to showcase (please refer to the guidelines on the webpage).
