Practice abstracts | EU CAP Network

Under the EIP-AGRI, Operational Groups and Horizon projects work in close synergy to stimulate knowledge exchange and spread innovative solutions across the EU. Operational Groups and Horizon projects are expected to share their results and practice-oriented solutions in concise summaries, known as ‘practice abstracts’. Practice abstracts follow the ‘EIP-AGRI common format’ to promote a more harmonised and practice-oriented way of sharing results.

Practice abstracts in the EIP-AGRI common format:

help projects share their results in an easily understandable way for farmers, foresters, rural communities and others from practice
foster knowledge flows, and shares project results more widely and at a faster pace
support the development of project proposals with added value, avoiding duplication of ongoing or completed projects
facilitate networking by connecting project partners with farmers, foresters and others from practice
answer to real needs from the field

Operational Groups can benefit from getting involved in EU-wide Horizon networks to learn about good practices or innovative solutions from across the EU. Horizon projects can benefit from interacting with Operational Groups, which develop innovative solutions for real practical needs from farmers, foresters or rural communities.

Upload your Operational Group information

If you are responsible for an Operational Group, please contact your country’s Managing Authority, who is responsible for sending Operational Group projects and practice abstracts to the European Commission, through the Shared Fund Management System (SFC). Your Managing Authority will let you know how to provide your information. Following this process, your Operational Group information will then be added in the EIP-AGRI project database.

If you do not see your Operational Group project or practice abstracts in the EIP-AGRI project database, please also contact your country’s Managing Authority. They will tell you how to deliver this information.

Please log in below to create your Horizon Europe project profile, and to upload or update your practice abstracts. The platform can be accessed through EU Login.

If you would like to upload your Horizon 2020 project or any practice abstracts, please download and fill in the EIP-AGRI common format document for Horizon 2020 below, and submit it to AGRI-EIP-PRACTICE-ABSTRACTS@ec.europa.eu.
