In the framework of the Farm to Fork Strategy, the European Commission launched a Forum on Best Practices in the Agri-Food Supply Chain to enhance the cooperation between primary producers, improve their position within the food supply chain and increase market transparency.

Building on the results of the first edition of the Forum (December 2021), this EU CAP Network workshop discussed the transition to a sustainable food system and key challenges from the perspective of farmers, producer organisations and retailers, as well as Member States and the European Commission.

The event discussed the transition to a sustainable food system, explored opportunities to further promote cooperation along the agri-food supply chain, discussed approaches to strengthening the role of the producer in the organic value chain and exchanged experience, ideas and views on how to support and improve market transparency in the EU's food supply chain.

The event took place in person at the Marriott Hotel in Brussels. The working language was English.
