The second meeting of the Thematic Group (TG) offered extensive opportunities for the exchange of experiences among TG members, feeding into some action-oriented recommendations and other TG outputs.
- 2023-2027
The second and final Thematic Group (TG) meeting built on the previous TG activities, namely the first TG meeting and some informal exchanges organised in between.
The event was an opportunity to review key insights from the previous activities, share best practices in developing and nurturing agri-food skills (collected in the course of the TG), and explore how the implementation of CAP Strategic Plans, and potentially other policies and tools, can foster skills development in agriculture.
TG members engaged in meaningful discussions to identify tools for skills development and defined some action-oriented recommendations for policy-makers. These and other TG outputs are available on the Thematic Group page.
Overall, participants acknowledged the networking and new connections enabled by the TG and the valuable discussions. The meeting offered a broader perspective on the important topic of skills development for the agri-food sector and participants were encouraged to apply the knowledge gained through the TG in their projects and activities.
