‘Resilience’ is a precious quality that can help individuals and societies cope with successive crises. It is also a key asset for Europe’s rural areas to overcome challenges and develop their full potential. The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) offers a variety of tools to support economic, social, and climate resilience — the three mutually reinforcing components of rural areas' and communities' resilience.

For each aspect of resilience, the magazine offers insights from the EU CAP Network's Thematic Groups, which support the exchange of experiences and plans among rural stakeholders, advancing the understanding of the opportunities provided by the CAP. The magazine also offers experience from the activities on innovation and knowledge exchange and outcomes from evaluation work at the EU level.

The text is enriched with quotes from EU CAP Network's stakeholders, inspiring examples from the ARIA 2023 competition and highlights from recent communication activities. Overall, the magazine highlights the crucial role of networking in fostering more resilient rural areas.
