This was the second meeting of the Thematic Group on Rural Youth Employment: the Voice of Rural Youth, which takes a holistic approach in exploring the mechanisms to support employment of rural young people.
The objectives of the 2nd TG meeting were:
- to discuss support programmes and tools that are available at different levels (EU, national, regional, local) and further explore how they help rural youth employment in reality;
- to share existing experiences of TG members with support programmes and tools on rural youth employment;
- to identify functional youth employment support models in order to inform relevant policies; and
- to wrap up TG outcomes.
