Precision farming, livestock farming, forestry and food processing
Precision farming is a management approach that focuses on observing, measuring, and responding to variability in crops, fields and animals in near-real time. It can help increase crop yields and animal performance, reduce costs, including labour costs, and optimise the use of water, fertiliser and other resources. All of these can help increase profitability. At the same time, precision farming can improve work safety and reduce the negative environmental impacts of agriculture, contributing to more sustainable agricultural production.
