Increasing competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability through EU CAP Network activities
- Innovation, knowledge exchange & EIP-AGRI
- Agricultural Productivity
- Climate and Climate Change
- Sustainability
Circularity, generation renewal, use of farm data, digitalisation, biodiversity management, soil/nutrient management, crop diversification, energy… All these themes are relevant to increasing resilience, sustainability, and competitiveness in farming.
Most activities by the EU CAP Network on innovation and knowledge exchange focus on supporting farmers to become more competitive, resilient, and sustainable. These include circularity, generation renewal, use of farm data, digitalisation, biodiversity management, soil/nutrient management, crop diversification, and energy production. In today’s context, it is essential that farming and forestry sectors are equipped to face challenges such as climate change and rising energy costs. This also aligns with the goals of environmental sustainability, offering long-term benefits for farms and surrounding ecosystems.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of past and upcoming activities by the EU CAP Network related to innovation, knowledge exchange and EIP-AGRI:
