A Local Action Group (LAG) in Central Finland created a new network and the enabling conditions for young people to plan and implement their own local development ideas.

The technical assistance project JOBtoc aims to investigate the profile of ‘Young Rural Entrepreneurs’ across mainland Portugal and thus contribute to adapting development strategies and policies to the needs and potential of regionalised rural development.  

The construction of a kindergarten and a nursery to increase rural pre-school provision, contribute to improving local services, and help retain young families from the rural areas. 

A camp site used Rural Development Programme (RDP) support to increase its capacity to accommodate visitors and upgrade its infrastructure and improving accessibility. 

This project involves inhabitants in the region actively contributing to better social cohesion. It connects different generations in ‘caring for the community’ and is the only intergenerational school support service in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.  

The project converted a mobile container into a spectacular learning and meeting space to cooperate with companies and young people and improve job opportunities.  

The ReWI project inspires young people to examine entrepreneurship from the perspective of the circular economy. The project has opened up a wide range of opportunities for young people, resulting in 40 new circular economy enterprises.
