EIP-AGRI Focus Group on Nutrient recycling: Final report

The EIP-AGRI Focus Group on Nutrient Recycling tackled the question “How to improve the agronomic use of recycled nutrients (N and P) from livestock manure and other organic sources?” The Focus Group experts discussed the benefits and constraints of some emerging technologies that allow the recovery and re-use of nutrients. They also identified gaps in existing knowledge which require further attention, and made suggestions for EIP-AGRI Operational Group projects that address some of these research needs yet also go further towards demonstrating concrete solutions. This report is a compilation of insights gained from the two meetings of the FG experts which took place in 2016.
