Are you curious about how the finalists are contributing? Discover the finalists on the dedicated finalists' page – see where they are working, read in more detail about their achievements, and check out their photos and videos. Perhaps there’s a finalist near you!

Among the finalists are initiatives that put voluntary mechanisms for biodiversity conservation in practice on private lands, demonstrate environmentally friendly alternatives to rodent pest control in agricultural lands, develop ground-breaking agri-environment payment schemes for farmers in Natura 2000 areas or create a network to preserve Europe's natural and semi-natural agricultural landscapes – but of course many other interesting initiatives as well.
