A new publication from DG AGRI provides an overview of facts and figures for the 27 EU Member States’ approved CAP Strategic Plans.
A new publication from DG AGRI sets out an overview of facts and figures for the 27 EU Member States’ approved CAP Strategic Plans (CSPs).
Key elements in CSPs for the 2023-2027 period are provided in the document featuring information available at the end of 2022. This clarifies the choices made by EU Member States in their CSPs and responds to requests for information to summarise what CSPs contain. It also explains what CSPs aim to deliver and highlights some examples which can serve as a further basis for the exchange of information and mutual learning.
Content in this new CSP overview document starts with general information on the assessment, approval and financial aspects of the CSPs. It then provides detailed information on how and what the CSPs aim to deliver in terms of the CAP’s economic, environmental and social objectives.
The summarised information in the document is not exhaustive and a European Commission report on the 28 CSPs is scheduled to be published before the end of 2023. This will provide further analysis as to how the CSPs help towards the achievement of the CAP's objectives.
