Funding opportunities for innovative projects via Horizon 2020.

Horizon 2020 is the largest source of public funding for research and innovation from the European Commission and it has a budget of around €4 billion for the societal challenge 2 on “Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy.” It will run from 2014 to 2020. Horizon 2020 calls are open to all organisations and individuals including applicants from outside the EU. This brochure outlines the main opportunities linked to Agricultural productivity and sustainability.
