Objectives
The result of the OG should be a system for the early detection of tail biting in the pig fattening stands, which informs the farmer in an event-oriented manner and to him there is scope for action in relaton to the bitten and the biting pig. The system should be closed contribute to improving animal welfare and health. About early detection the use of antibiotics could be reduced. This is how the pig-farmer should move into the be put in a position to comply with the requirement to waive docking.
Objectives
Im Ergebnis der OG soll ein System zur frühzeitigen erkennung von Schwanzbeißen in der Schweinemast stehen, welches den Landwirt ergebnisorientiert informiert und ihm Handlungsspielräume in Bezug aus das gebissene und das beißende Schwein gibt. Das System soll zu einer Verbesserung des Tierwohls und der Tiergesundheit beitragen. Übereine frühzeitige erkennung könnte der Antibiotikaeinsatz reduziert werden. So soll der mittelständische Schweinemäster in die Lage versetzt werden, der Anforderung des Kupierverzichts nachzukommen.
