The implementation of breeding programmes together with an educational programme for farmers will contribute to increasing the efficiency of colostrum production. The application of appropriate cattle dietary supplementation and the provision of appropriate heifer rearing conditions will improve the quality of bovine colostrum. A direct benefit for the herd will be a long-term positive impact on the health of already adult animals, but also a correlation of the quantity of milk production by adults depending on the quantity and quality of colostrum accepted by them immediately after birth. The developed breeding programmes together with the educational programme will enable their implementation in many farms and will be presented at national and international conferences. On the basis of the conducted research, scientific publications will be prepared.
As part of the implementation of the operation, a central colostrum bank will be created - a base of raw material of proven quality for farms and other branches of industry. The development of conditions for the process of freeze-drying of colostrum will enable to obtain a product in the form desired by the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food industries.
The implemented IT solution will enable management of the process of raw material turnover from the moment of its acquisition to the production of the final product. The system will enable control of freeze-drying colostrum production management and ensure traceability and verification of carbon footprint.
The management of bovine colostrum surpluses and its use as a raw material in new sectors will expand markets for high-quality agricultural products and will lead to an increase in the economic potential of agricultural production.
Wdrożenie programów hodowlanych wraz z programem edukacyjnym dla rolników przyczyni się do zwiększenia efektywności produkcji i wykorzystania siary. Zastosowanie odpowiedniej suplementacji diety bydła oraz zapewnienie odpowiednich warunków odchowu jałówek poprawi jakość siary bydlęcej. Bezpośrednią korzyścią dla stada będzie długofalowy pozytywny wpływ na stan zdrowia dorosłych już osobników, ale również korelacja ilości produkcji mleka przez osobniki dorosłe w zależności od ilości i jakości siary przyjętej przez nie bezpośrednio po urodzeniu. Opracowane programy hodowlane wraz z programem edukacyjnym umożliwią ich implementację w wielu gospodarstwach oraz będą prezentowane na krajowych i międzynarodowych konferencjach. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań zostaną opracowane publikacje naukowe.
W ramach realizacji operacji powstanie centralny bank siary - zaplecze surowca o potwierdzonej jakości dla gospodarstw rolnych, jak i innych gałęzi przemysłu. Opracowanie warunków procesu liofilizacji siary umożliwi uzyskanie produktu w formie pożądanej przez przemysł kosmetyczny, farmaceutyczny oraz spożywczy.
Wdrożone rozwiązanie informatyczne umożliwi zarządzanie procesem obrotu surowca od momentu jego pozyskania do wytworzenia ostatecznego produktu. Opracowany system umożliwi kontrolę zarządzania produkcją siary liofilizowanej oraz zapewni identyfikowalność oraz weryfikację śladu węglowego.
Zagospodarowanie nadwyżek siary bydlęcej oraz wykorzystanie jej jako surowca w nowych sektorach, spowoduje poszerzenie rynków zbytu dla wysokowartościowych produktów rolnych i doprowadzi do zwiększenia potencjału ekonomicznego produkcji rolnej.
