Follow and join our upcoming events on the CAP implementation

From livestock systems to farm diversification, from generational renewal to LEADER: discover which aspects of the CAP implementation we are exploring in early 2026 - and join the conversation.

Whatever aspects of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) implementation you are interested in, you are sure to find something relevant for you in our menu of upcoming events.

We just launched a new Thematic Group (TG) to explore the CAP's role in supporting sustainable and competitive livestock systems, where a small but committed group of stakeholders is exploring how to better use CAP Strategic Plans to support the transition to more sustainable and competitive livestock systems.

Another TG that is about to take off will explore the opportunities and challenges for farm diversification in the EU, sharing examples of success factors and assessing the effectiveness of current CAP interventions and wider policy frameworks for supporting farm diversification.

A  third Thematic Group will look at the role of the CAP in a Just Transition in the agri-food systems. Expressions of interest are currently open, so if you are interested in joining, visit the TG page and fill in the online form.

Generational renewal will be the topic of our seminar Ensuring the Right to Stay for young farmers and rural youth, scheduled on 11 March in Brussels. Registrations are still open until 5 February via the online form on the event page.

The Subgroup on LEADER and Territorial Development will convene again at the end of February for its 4th meeting in Brussels. This Subgroup is part of the EU CAP Network governance, and its meetings are invaluable opportunities to take stock of LEADER-related activities by the National Networks, and Member States representatives and NGOs.

Finally, National Networks will be looking forward to the 7th NN meeting scheduled in Malta at the end of March.

Join the conversation!

All our Thematic Groups and events are open to all CAP stakeholders. As places are limited, we often launch calls for expressions of interest and then select participants to ensure a fair representation of different groups of CAP stakeholders, age groups, countries and gender.

If you are interested in joining the next events, make sure you subscribe to our monthly newsletter and follow us on social media (@eucapnetwork).

If your request to participate cannot be accepted, there are still plenty of ways to follow our work, as we ensure live coverage of our events on social media, regular reporting in our newsletters, and in-depth analysis in our publications.

And if you think you can contribute to our work in other ways, or you want to flag relevant resources, just drop us an email at implementation@eucapnetwork.eu. Keep in touch!
