For sustainable fertilization, the partners want to facilitate the development of an accessible, flexible, innovative machine for row fertilization that can use liquid fertilizers and with a focus on the huge potential for circular fertilizers.

Om duurzaam te bemesten willen de partners in dit project de ontwikkeling faciliteren van een toegankelijke, flexibele, innovatieve machine voor rijenbemesting die gebruik kan maken van vloeibare meststoffen en met een focus op het enorme potentieel voor circulaire meststoffen.
Activities
The first part will be a brainstorming session to define the needs and requirements. A second section includes the analysis of sustainable liquid fertilizer options. Growers can choose between classic commercial fertilizers, liquid organic fertilizers and renure fertilizers. Being able to use these fertilizers sustainably promotes resource efficiency that will also have a favorable economic impact on farms in these times. A final section analyzes the economic framework comparing cost price scenarios with fertilization of different types of fertilizers in combination with the necessary fertilization machinery.
Activities
In een eerste fase wordt een brainstormsessie georganiseerd om de noden en de eisen vast te leggen. Een tweede deel omvat de analyse van de mogelijkheden inzake duurzame vloeibare meststoffen. Het betreft klassieke commerciële meststoffen, vloeibare organische meststoffen en renure meststoffen. Het duurzaam kunnen inzetten van deze meststoffen bevordert de hulpbronnenefficiëntie die in deze tijden ook een gunstige economische impact zal hebben op de bedrijven. In een laatste deel wordt het economisch kader geanalyseerd waarbij er kostprijsscenario’s met een bemesting van verschillende types meststoffen worden vergeleken in combinatie met de nodige bemestingsmachines.
