Objectives
The aim of the project is to optimise regional organic nutrient cycles. The focus lies on the increased and improved use of regional organic fertiliser in farms with fruit and wine growing.
For this purpose, an analysis of the current situation with regard to regional fertiliser management will be carried out.
In addition, alternative systems for the use, processing and recycling of manure will be identified.
The findings will be used to develop suitable models for the province of South Tyrol to reduce the application of surplus organic fertiliser on grassland areas.
Objectives
Ziel des Projektes ist die Optimierung von regionalen organischen Nährstoffkreisläufen. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf den vermehrten und verbesserten Einsatz von regionalem organischem Dünger in Betrieben mit Obst- und Weinbau.
Dafür wird eine Analyse der Ist-Situation in Bezug auf das regionale Düngemanagement durchgeführt.
Parallel werden alternative Nutzungs- und Verarbeitungssysteme des Wirtschaftsdüngers identifiziert.
Aus den gesammelten Erkenntnissen werden für die Provinz Südtirol geeignete Modelle zur Reduzierung der Ausbringung von organischem Dünger auf Grünland-Flächen entwickelt.

• Characterisation of soil and farm manure properties
• Creation of a regional nutrient balance sheet
• Identification and evaluation of alternative utilisation, processing and recycling systems for farm manure
• Visiting best practice examples at national and international level
• Definition of a framework for the development of nutrient management models
• Initialisation and support of farm cooperations
• Networking with agricultural stakeholders
• Creation of documentation in the form of booklets, infographics, and short movies to support knowledge transfer.

• Erstellung einer regionalen Nährstoffbilanz
• Identifikation und Bewertung von alternativen Nutzungs-, Verarbeitungssysteme für Wirtschaftsdünger
• Besichtigung von Best Practice Beispielen im In- und Ausland
• Festlegung der Rahmenbedingungen für die Ausarbeitung von Nährstoffmanagement Modellen
• Initialisierung und Begleitung von Betriebskooperationen
•Gezielte Netzwerkarbeit mit den landwirtschaftlichen Interessenvertretern
•Erstellung von Wissenstransfermaterialien in Form von Broschüren, Infografiken und Infovideos.
