Fieldlab Biologisch Noord Holland
Activities
Designing an area-based ‘Fieldlab’ for the development, deepening and scaling up of the organic farming system for the transition towards circular farming. A Fieldlab organic in which the contribution of organic to (i) scaling up organic production, marketing and balance (including risk mitigation, natural pest regulation and robust crops, and (ii) the provision of climate, water, biodiversity-related and ecosystem services, etc.) is justified and visible.
Forms the basis for (1) chain cooperation to increase marketing and area and (2) further development of organic production – with research and information facilities; area-based connection to the North Holland Transition Declarations (NPLG/PPLG) and wider applicability for other regions.
Activities
Het ontwerpen van een gebiedsgericht ‘Fieldlab’ voor de ontwikkeling, verdieping en opschaling van de biologisch als landbouwsysteem ten behoeve van de transitie richting kringlooplandbouw. Een fieldlab biologisch waarin wordt geïnnoveerd en waarbij de bijdrage van biologisch aan (i) opschaling van de biologische productie, afzet en saldo (incl. risicodemping, natuurlijke plaagregulatie en robuuste gewassen, en (ii) het leveren van klimaat-, water-, biodiversiteits en ecosysteemdiensten etc, wordt onderbouwd en zichtbaar gemaakt.
Basis vormt de (1) Ketensamenwerking ten behoeve van het vergroten van de afzet en het areaal en (2) doorontwikkeling van de wijze van biologische produceren – met faciliteiten voor onderzoek en voorlichting; gebiedsgerichte aansluiting bij de transitieopgaven van Noord-Holland (NPLG/PPLG) en bredere toepasbaarheid voor andere regio’s.

A fieldlab organic in which innovation and the contribution of organic to (i) scaling up organic production, marketing and balance (incl. risk mitigation, natural pest regulation and robust crops, and (ii) delivering climate, water, biodiversity and
ecosystem services etc, is substantiated and made visible.
