Objectives
Gourmet BV started in September 2021 with the development of a cultivation and crop precision tracking system in the field of crop cultivation, processing and distribution of agricultural products. By making the cultivation and processing process traceable and transparent throughout the chain, food waste due to process inefficiency can be reduced by 50% and the ecological footprint of agricultural products can be mapped out to the store. In this way, a significant contribution is made to a cost reduction in agriculture with a lower ecological footprint and insight into sustainable and locally produced food as an added value strategy.
Objectives
Gourmet BV is in september 2021 gestart met de ontwikkeling van een teelt- en gewas precisietraceringssysteem op het gebied van gewasteelt, verwerking en distributie van landbouwproducten. Door het keten-breed traceerbaar en inzichtelijk maken van het teelt- en verwerkingsproces, kan de voedselverspilling door procesinefficiëntie met 50% verminderd worden en de ecologische footprint landbouwproduct tot in de winkel in kaart gebracht worden. Op deze manier wordt sterk bijgedragen aan een kostenverlaging in de landbouw met een lagere ecologische footprint en inzicht in duurzaam en lokaal geproduceerd voedsel als meerwaardestrategie.
Activities
The intended result of the L2C system is to make the cultivation, processing and transport process in combination with the actual and data-driven traceability. its own guarantee label, in which the origin, food safety, transport and ecological impact can be determined and guaranteed. As well as to arrive at a sustainable, scalable system in combination with product certification that allows both farmers and inspectors from government organizations and consumers to provide transparent insight into the sustainability of food production for the widest possible range of agricultural products.
Activities
Beoogd resultaat van het L2C systeem het feitelijk en data-gestuurd traceerbaar maken van het teelt-, verwerkings- en transportproces i.c.m. een eigen waarborgings-label, waarin de herkomst, voedselveiligheid, transport en ecologische impact bepaald en gegarandeerd kan worden. Alsook te komen tot een duurzaam, schaalbaar systeem i.c.m. productcertificering waarmee zowel de landbouwers en controleurs vanuit overheidsorganisaties als consumenten transparant inzicht te geven in de duurzaamheid van de voedselproductie van een zo breed mogelijk scala aan landbouwproducten.
