Objectives

The general objective of the project is the development of a property management tool, based on Geographic Information Systems, that allows the development of a more efficient and sustainable management of agroforestry resources in terms of climate and environment. 

Objectives

El objetivo general del proyecto es el desarrollo de una herramienta de gestión de la propiedad, basada en Sistemas de Información Geográfica, que permita desarrollar una gestión más eficiente y sostenible de los recursos agroforestales en materia de clima y medio ambiente.

Activities

1.Develop a GIS tool for property management.
2.develop a methodology for the detection of coverages: artificial pastures, permanent pastures, abandoned plots, reforestation, woodland.
3. Develop methodology for the quantification of nitrogen in pastures
4.Develop tools for the identification of land use, quantification of carbon in agroforestry systems and implementation of forestry projects that contribute to mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
