Denmark’s cluster for Food & Bio Resources is starting a global movement

Food & Bio Cluster Denmark is the main organiser of the summit, themed "Join the global movement", and the objective of the summit is clear; to come together across borders to drive the change towards a greener future in the food and bioresource industry. The Danish food and bioresource cluster has partnered up with clusters from around the world which all play a vital role in the industry. Together, the aim is to transform the current food and bioresource systems and to have the world's leading industries and sciences work together to develop transition pathways towards new sustainable ecosystems.



A Global Movement towards change

"We find ourselves on a burning platform. The world's population is growing, and we need to produce more food in a more sustainable way. That's why we have invited leading clusters globally - clusters that are all facing the same challenge right now and understand the need to act and respond immediately. Together, we must unite our forces to come up with new and concrete solutions. Solutions that are not just quick fixes but need to be implemented very soon," says Lars Visbech Sørensen, CEO of Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, who will be speaking at the summit in September, among many others. Inspiration from Global Industry Colleagues

In addition to presentations from knowledgeable individuals in the industry, the summit offers participants the opportunity to shape the future of our food and bioresource systems and make an actual change.

The two-day event will be filled with inspiring presentations, ample networking opportunities with international colleagues, 1:1 matchmaking, and the chance to participate in one of the four summit laboratories. And because the summit brings together industry people from all over the world, participants will have a unique opportunity to gain inspiration from industry colleagues globally. The air at Aarhus City Hall will likely be thick with inspiration and ideas about innovation and product development. For participants, it will likely serve as a gateway to new ways of working, new collaborations and a broader network.



Summit Labs: Your Active Role in Shaping the Future

When looking at the program, you'll notice the "Summit Lab."-sessions. As participant to the summit, you can choose which of the four "labs" you wish to participate in upon registration. In the labs, you become part of a group specifically dedicated to discussing key topics crucial for driving sustainable food and bioresource systems. This implies that you can engage in collaborative discussions, brainstorm innovative solutions, and contribute to shaping the future of sustainable food systems.
