Regieorganisatie GLB is the driving force behind Netwerk Platteland. This is a platform where stakeholders share knowledge and experience, meet and support each other in implementation. The network regularly organises events for this purpose and maintains a website and a knowledge database.

Objectives
The Dutch National Network involves all stakeholders in the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) so that they can play their role optimally via the following activities:
- Assisting in programming activities such as subsidy rounds
- Monitoring and evaluating the realisation of and actively reporting on the achievement of CAP goals
- Facilitating networks – connecting practice
- Placing topics on the agenda based on CAP Strategic Plan (CSP) content
- Picturing successes and bottlenecks in implementation
- Sharing information about target reach and effects
