Summary
In Finland, the National Rural Network planned a comprehensive participatory approach in close collaboration with the Managing Authority to ensure full engagement of stakeholders in the preparation of the new LEADER programming period. The work was easily adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Results
- country wide Smart Rural Areas roadshow;
- 5 one day capacity building events on participatory approach used in roadshow
- to overcome COVID-19 restrictions a two-day online training session for 15 Provincial authorities on implementing virtual participatory meetings and online tools.
