    Summary

    CAP co-finance provided a young farmer with the opportunity to set-up a rabbit-breeding business. CAP funds were invested in a modem farm shed structure, using the latest low density breeding technology, ventilation and waste removal systems to ensure optimal animal welfare and productivity.

    Results

    Thanks to the project, the beneficiary is now the head of a small commercial rabbit breeding farm with an annual turnover of approximately EUR 12 500.

    Mr Zerafa enjoys working in a modern setup that aligns with his lifestyle aspirations for autonomy and a healthy work-life balance.
