Forest Innovation Workshop 2025

Co-organized by the ERIAFF network (European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food and Forestry), the European Forest Institute (EFI) and its Bioregions Facility, the European Confederation of Forest Owners (CEPF), the European State Forest Association (EUSTAFOR), the European Farmers and Agri-Cooperatives (COPA-COGECA), the European Landowners’ Organization (ELO) and Euromontana, and the projects FOREST4EU and OptFor-EU, this two-day event is a unique opportunity to engage with policymakers, forest owners, practitioners, researchers, associations, and NGOs.

This two-day event will discuss the state of the art in the European framework for innovation in the forest-based sector, examine practical and scientific evidence on “Forests of the Future” and the innovation agenda, hold parallel sessions on innovative solutions in practice with EIP AGRI Operational Groups in forestry and agroforestry, and hold roundtable discussions with regional authorities on priorities for innovation and supportive frameworks.
