The workshop for agricultural journalists at Ghent University will bring together innovators in agriculture and forestry during an Innovation Dating event on Tuesday 9 July and on field trips to innovative farms and research institutes on 9 and 10 July 2024
After the networking day on Monday 8 July, the second part of the ENAJ/EU-FarmBook Press andNetworking Event continues with a workshop for European agricultural journalists. On Tuesday 9 July, they will meet face-to-face with innovative companies that will present their products and solutions for agriculture and forestry during an Innovation Speed-Dating event in the morning. In the afternoon, and on the morning of Wednesday, 10 July, they will visit leading research institutes and farms with new agricultural technologies and methods in action. This event promises to be a vital platform for learning, networking and discovering the latest trends and innovations in the agricultural sector. EU-FarmBook is a Horizon Europe project that is working at the regional, national, and European (EU) levels to build an online platform for gathering and sharing agriculture and forestry knowledge. The European Network of Agricultural Journalists (ENAJ) is an organization that represents the interests of agricultural journalists across Europe. ENAJ organizes events, workshops, and conferences to help members stay up to date on the latest developments in the agricultural sector, network with other professionals, and improve their journalistic skills. The organization plays a key role in enhancing the quality of agricultural reporting and in fostering connections between journalists and the broader agricultural community. The program will be presented soon.
