Smart Villages: 2nd Thematic Group meeting

This is the main report of the second meeting of the ENRD Thematic Group on 'Smart Villages'. 

It outlines ways in which rural communities across Europe are developing innovative local solutions and imaginative approaches to cuts in rural transport, energy, social care, education, service integration, as well as to the threat of climate change. Additionally, it provides recommendations for building a more favourable, enabling environment for 'Smart Villages'.
