Kontext
(Moutain) farmers are increasingly looking for ways to diversify their sources of income. The trend for regional and traceable products is ongoing opening a window of opportunity for innovative products from processed farm products to enter the market. To supply these products a supporting research, consultancy and practitioners network is needed. To fill this gap is the scope of the project INNOProdukte.
Objectives
Promotion of product innovation in processing of regional raw materials in the product groups vegetables, fruit, herbs, dairy and cereal to increase and sustain the economic viability of mountain farming.

Activities
1. Analysis of potential for innovative food farm products and assessment of the technical and economic feasibility of processing raw material on the farm, 2. Coaching and workshop activities to create prototypes of innovative regional products from the farms, 3. development of information material such as videos, graphics, info sheets, guidelines etc.

Begleitung von Betrieben durch die Herstellung von Prototypen und enger Beratung durch ExpertInnen in Workshops und Coachings, 3. Erstellung von Informationsmaterialien in Form von Videos, Merkblättern, Handbuch Grafiken etc.
