Objectives
The objective of this project is to promote local wood in a short circuit, by helping to develop a better organization of the Normandy wood sector, the development of a low-carbon economy and the creation of local jobs by processing low-quality logs. into a noble product. It focuses on the local processing of hardwoods from Normandy by developing an innovative prefabrication process of wood construction elements in series and in short circuits, by optimizing the supply, processing and valuation of Norman wood (oak, beech , the chestnut) - with the aim of controlling costs and quality of implementation.

L’objectif de ce projet est de valoriser le bois local en circuit court, en contribuant à développer une meilleure organisation de la filière bois normande, le développement d’une économie décarbonée et la création d’emplois locaux en transformant des grumes de faible qualité en un produit noble. Il porte sur la transformation locale de feuillus de Normandie en développant un processus de préfabrication innovant d’éléments de construction bois en série et en circuit court, en optimisant l’approvisionnement, la transformation et la valorisation du bois normand (le chêne, le hêtre, le châtaigner) - dans un objectif de maîtrise des coûts et de qualité de mise en œuvre.

1 Practice Abstracts

La première étape du travail correspond à la conception et au dessin en agence d’architecture de « modules de bois » innovants préfabriqués. Une fois dessinés, les modules d’essai seraient soumis à des tests en vue d’homologation, et le procédé à commande numérique permettant l’industrialisation de la découpe et de l’assemblage serait réalisé.
