Activities
The Fieldlab Green Hart aims to design a safe environment in which actors can learn and experiment (learning by doing) with their role in the transition to low-emission, nature inclusive circular agriculture in the western peatland. Companies and knowledge institutions develop, test and implement within the Fieldlab targeted socially relevant solutions for how we produce food and biomass: sustainable and circular in a new ecological and economic balance with landscape, soil, water and nature (ecosystem services). Public authorities and market players learn what tools they use to shape an enabling policy environment for businesses. The Fieldlab therefore deals with on-farm innovations as well as innovations in public administrations, chain operators and funders.

Het fieldlab Groene Hart is gericht op het ontwerpen van een veilige praktijkomgeving waarin actoren kunnen leren en experimenteren (learning by doing) met hun rol in de transitie naar een emissiearme, natuur inclusieve kringlooplandbouw in het westelijk veenweidegebied. Bedrijven en kennisinstellingen ontwikkelen, testen en implementeren binnen het fieldlab doelgericht maatschappelijk relevante oplossingen voor de manier waarop we voedsel en biomassa produceren: duurzaam en circulair in een nieuw ecologisch en economisch evenwicht met landschap, bodem, water en natuur (ecosysteemdiensten). Overheden en marktpartijen leren met welke instrumenten ze een stimulerende beleidsomgeving vormgeven voor bedrijven. Het fieldlab gaat dus over innovaties op het boerenbedrijf én innovaties bij overheden, ketenpartijen en financiers.

1 Practice Abstracts
In the Groene Hart field lab, we design a safe practical environment in which actors can learn and experiment (learning by doing) with their role in the transition to low-emission, nature-inclusive circular agriculture in the western peat meadow area. Companies and knowledge institutions develop, test and implement targeted socially relevant solutions within the field lab for the way we produce food and biomass: sustainable and circular in a new ecological and economic balance with landscape, soil, water and nature (ecosystem services). Governments and market parties learn which instruments they use to shape a stimulating policy environment for companies. The field lab is therefore about innovations on the farm and innovations at governments, chain parties and financiers.
