Objectives

German medium-sized manufactures which produce spices, aromas,food supplements+herbal medicines hold a leading position at the international level. The OG focuses on the innovative potential of their project on mint varieties with high menthol content+special aromas. Objectives are increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, introducing new+marketable products with improved qualities providing regionally produced, high-value plants for processing and ensuring a sustainable and environmentally responsible production of useful plants. Finally, the OG develops recommendations concerning cultivation practices suitable for the needs of the selected mint varieties.

Objectives

Die OG konzentriert sich auf die Einführung von Minze-Arten mit erhöhtem Menthol-Gehalt + speziellen Aromen. Ziel ist es, die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der landwirtschaftlichen Betriebe zu verbessern, neue + marktfähige Produkte mit verbesserter Qualität einzuführen, die Biodiversität in den Betrieben + der Agrarlandschaft zu sichern, qualitativ hochwertige Pflanzen aus regionalem Anbau für die Verarbeitung zur Verfügung zu stellen + eine nachhaltige + umweltgerechte Produktion von Nutzpflanzen sicherzustellen. Die OG wird Anbauempfehlungen entwickeln und entsprechende Kulturanleitungen für die Minze-Arten herausgegeben.
