Knowledge base: Regional, national and international knowledge about soil management is made accessible and translated into the specific peat colonial situation. This serves as the basis for further exchange, demonstration and optimization.

• Living pilot organic matter: An improved version of the system for organic matter management through the use of organic residual flows. Insight into the effectiveness of measures to tackle specific bottlenecks with regard to soil quality in the Peat Colonies.

• Living pilot building plan, tillage and green manures: The result of this module is more insight into the effects of building plan-expanding measures, soil preparation and the use of green manures on the build-up of soil fertility, soil structure and health and nutrient emissions. By monitoring the effects, insight is gained into the organic matter composition, soil chemical, physical and biological soil characteristics, effects on yields and (financial) results, as well as effects on nutrient cycle in the various system adaptations.

• Development of a simple indicator set for a healthy, biodiverse and resilient soil. This will develop a practical and usable practical tool aimed at target values ​​for the Peat Colonial area. An annual report is also drawn up, as well as fact sheets and presentations as input for communication and knowledge transfer.
