AVIENERGY, de residuo a recurso: Economía circular en el Sector avícola mediante el aprovechamiento energético de las deyecciones
Objectives
The project promotes a more efficient use of resources applying a strategy based on the circular bioeconomy. It focuses on the waste recovery of defecations generated in poultry farms for their use as an input to obtain a renewable energy source and fertilizers and components for the use of soil nutrients. The proposed solution aims to become an efficient and environmentally sustainable tool with which to contribute to solving the problem of managing high volumes of waste in the poultry sector, which may become an opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of farms and mitigate the environmental impact of this activity.
Objectives
El proyecto promueve un uso más eficiente de recursos aplicando una estrategia basada en la bioeconomía circular. El objeto es valorizar las deyecciones generadas en explotaciones avícolas para su aprovechamiento como input para la obtención de una fuente de energía renovable y de fertilizantes y componentes para el aprovechamiento de nutrientes en suelo. La solución propuesta aspira a convertirse
en una herramienta eficiente y medioambientalmente sostenible con la que contribuir a solucionar el problema de gestión de altos volúmenes de residuos en el sector avícola pudiendo convertirse en una oportunidad para reforzar la competitividad de las explotaciones y mitigar su impacto medioambiental
Activities
Characterization and pre-treatment of the starting biofuels.
Design, construction, assembly and tuning of the combustion system.
Characterization of solid and gaseous streams. Evaluation of the implementation of flue gas cleaning measures.
Recovery of the energy contained in the initial waste in order to obtain a new energetic resource (heat) and electricity that can be used in the operation. Evaluation of the ash as fertilizer materials and/or as a component in the preparation of fertilizers.
Knowledge of the environmental impact of the proposed solution.
Activities
Caracterización y pretratamiento de los biocombustibles de partida.
Diseño, construcción, montaje y puesta a punto del sistema de combustión.
Caracterización de las corrientes sólidas y gaseosas. Evaluación de la implementación de medidas de limpieza del gas de salida.
Recuperación de la energía contenida en las deyecciones de partida para la obtención de 1 nuevo recurso energético (calor) y de electricidad utilizables en la explotación.
Evaluación de las cenizas como materiales fertilizantes y/o como componente en la preparación de fertilizantes.
Conocimiento del impacto ambiental de la solución propuesta.
