Good practices, projects, funding and other resources offering support to farmers faced with increases in fertiliser and energy prices.
In response to the impacts of the climate crisis and the economic consequences and disruptions to the food supply due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s war in Ukraine, the prices for agricultural inputs and products have been driven upwards. This contributes to the increased vulnerability of food systems and threatens food security in the long term.
The June edition of the EU CAP Network Support Facility for Innovation & Knowledge Exchange including EIP-AGRI looks specifically at this topic, showcasing some useful EIP-AGRI Support Facility activities as well as projects, funding and other resources.
