Getting into hot water

Interreg North-West Europe project ICaRE4Farms set out to boost the use of solar thermal energy in farming across 4 pilot sites. Solar thermal power is a renewable energy solution for heating large quantities of water - using the sun’s rays to directly heat water. The project objective has been to demonstrate the efficiency of this technology for different farming systems.
