Join us on 26 June for a Tools4CAP Academy session on innovative modelling tools supporting CAP interventions, featuring real case studies and practical guidance.

On Thursday, 26 June 2025, from 09:30 to 11:30 AM (CEST), the Tools4CAP project will host its fifth online Academy module, focused on “Innovative Quantitative Tools for Eco-Schemes and Green Architecture” to analyse the impact of the CAP Strategic Plans.

This module, linked to the Methodological Guidelines for Innovative Quantitative Tools, will provide participants with practical knowledge and guidance on how to use scenario modelling tools to analyse and strengthen CAP Strategic Plans.

The objectives of the module are to:

  • Introduce existing tools for scenario modelling, enabling participants to understand how the impacts of interventions in CAP Strategic Plans can be analysed, with practical examples of their application.
  • Provide clear and practical guidance on how to implement and use these tools through two case studies. The focus will be on making the tools accessible and applicable to policymakers and stakeholders. What are the steps to follow when using these tools?
  • Explore the advantages and benefits of these tools, discussing their capacity to improve decision-making in the context of the CAP.
  • Identify and analyse the main limitations and barriers that may arise when applying these tools in practice, encouraging open discussion on how these can be addressed or mitigated in specific contexts.
  • Showcase a practical example of how these types of tools are being implemented in Strategic Plans. The case studies from the Netherlands and France (Occitanie region) will illustrate how modelling tools support the design of CAP interventions, highlighting early findings and challenges.

This module is part of the Tools4CAP Academy, coordinated by the European Association for Innovation in Local Development (AEIDL), in collaboration with all partners. The Academy offers tailored training to support knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and peer learning adapted to the evolving needs of CAP governance.

Due to the practical nature of the training, participation is by invitation only. However, if you are interested in joining, you may contact Raquel Pastor (rpc@aeidl.eu) to express your interest.
