Network to Innovate: Soil Biodiversity

This workshop, organised by the Rural Networks of Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Poland, is a great opportunity to connect with others in the field, share knowledge, and potentially create new partnerships.

The primary goal of the event is to foster networking and knowledge exchange on projects from Nordic-Baltic countries, covering various funding sources and measures. All interested participants are welcome to join!

The 1st part of the event will feature four inspiring presentations on EIP projects, other innovative solutions, partnerships, and research topics.

Following the presentations, we'll dive into a discussion round where participants can leave their questions to the speakers.

  • Come and explore the latest advancements with us at our thematic workshop, where we'll take a closer look at four exciting initiatives that are influencing the current landscape.
  • The EIP Operation group, Bazydrill from Poland, focuses on innovative technical solutions in a seeder for overseeding grasslands. Their aim is to enhance the quantity and quality of feed for ruminants while protecting soils, waters, and the climate.
  • The "Climate Responsible Agriculture for Latvia" project, part of the LIFE programme, focuses on assessing the impact of two distinct greenhouse gas emission reduction practices in agriculture at the farm level.
  • Examining the influence of agricultural soil management practices on soil biodiversity: perspectives from the SoildiverAgro.
