A bold opportunity to gather key political actors to advance the political agenda for the future of rural areas, prepare a fruitful debate in the Council of the EU, and support Member States to take action to unlock the potential of rural areas.

On 27-28 September 2023, the Horizon Europe infodays will present topics from the 2024 Work Programme of Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural resources, Agriculture and Environment). The infodays will be preceded by a brokerage event.

The event will address the importance of food production in the EU. It will also look into the role of the primary sector and of consumers in ensuring strategic autonomy.

This will be the first meeting of the Thematic Group (TG) on CAP Strategic Plans: Monitoring Committees, facilitated/organised by the CAP Implementation Contact Point.

The 2nd National Networks Meeting, gathering the National Networks, was organised by the CAP Implementation Contact Point jointly with the Polish National Network, and took place in Leszno, Poland on 20 and 21 September 2023.

The European Sustainable Nutrient Initiative (ESNI) Conference will be held on 20 September 2023. The event will provide a framework for policies promoting Nutrient Recycling and Recovery (NRR) at European level.

The Agroforestry Show is the first of its kind aimed at bringing together farmers, foresters, tree surgeons, growers, graziers, advisors, funders, food businesses and agroforesters!

The workshop is organised in the framework of the MEF4CAP project, looking to harness the benefits of digital technologies in connection to the new sustainability data needs, prompted by the reform of the CAP, Green Deal, Farm to Fork and Biodiversity Strategy.
