The second meeting of the Thematic Group on Landscape Features and Biodiversity will focus on ways to encourage greater maintenance, restoration, creation of landscape features to meet the Biodiversity Strategy target.

On 13 and 14 December 2022, the European Commission will organise infodays to present the Horizon Europe work programme 2023, with specific attention to the topics from Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment).

On 12 December 2022, Horizon 2020 research projects AgroMix, MIXED and STARGATE are organising a joint webinar on ‘mixed farming and agroforestry systems – at farm and landscape level’.

The EU Agricultural Outlook conference is the flagship annual event for broad exchanges among stakeholders on market prospects in agriculture. This includes discussion of the political framework and uncertainties surrounding market developments in the next 10 years.

The EU CAP Network Seminar ‘Smart circular farming to address high energy and fertiliser prices’ took place in Porto, Portugal, on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 December 2022.

During an online workshop on 1 December 2022, the German National Rural Network and German National Contact Point for Horizon Europe will provide more information on the upcoming calls for Thematic Networks based on EIP-AGRI Operational Groups.

The workshop focused on exchanging knowledge and sharing innovative, inspirational practices that can support young entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems in rural areas.  

The SIEUSOIL project is holding its final event on 25 November 2022. Taking place online, the event will share the latest results on soil monitoring and land use management.

This is an event organised by the European Commission on vocational education and training for agriculture in transition. The event will take place in Brussels and will also be web-streamed. 

The 2nd meeting of the thematic group will take place on 24 November. More information will be available soon.
