Objectives

The general objective of the project is to promote sustainable and more productive agriculture in the Region of Murcia through the efficient use of water resources and nitrogen fertilizers, the improvement of production procedures for the improvement of the environment, the promotion of innovative solutions ... for which it is intended to develop an optimal management system of water, energy and nutritional resources necessary for the development of crops, reducing environmental pollution.

Activities

The following activities are carried out to achieve the objectives: 1) Construction of a prototype weighing lysimeter; 2) Adaptation of electronic systems, programming and communications protocol; 3) Development of an online platform that allows the integration of systems and; 4) Validation of the system developed for the management of irrigation and fertilizers in various horticultural crops.
