1.3 Importance of processing/purchasing quality fodder.

Recommendations:

  • Importance of first cut date for successive cuts, nutritional quality, etc
  • Always mow in the vegetative stage because although you get less grass, the nutritional quality of the grass is much better.
  • If you obtain medium-low quality fodder, use it for animals with less need, dry cattle.

1.3 Importancia de elaborar/comprar forrajes de calidad.

Recomendaciones

  • Importancia de la fecha de primer corte para sucesivos cortes, calidad nutritiva, etc
  • Segar siempre en estadío vegetativo porque aunque se obtiene menos hierba, la calidad nutritiva de la misma es mucho mejor.
  • Si se obtiene forraje de calidad medio-baja utilizarla para animales de menores necesidades, vacas secas.
