Objectives
Objectives:
1.- Reduction of the water and carbon footprint in the formation of the plant, in the cultivation and transformation of tomatoes..
2.- Technical objectives: - computer application to obtain water and carbon footprint data of the tomato industry.- versatile application, adapted to each of the GO member industries.- independence and confidentiality in the data management of the different industries.- create a plan to reduce the water and carbon footprint in the transforming industries.- allow replication in other industries and continuity in these.

Objetivos:
1.- Reducción de la huella hídrica y de carbono en la formación de la planta, en el cultivo y en la transformación del tomate.
2.- Objetivos técnicos:- aplicación informática para obtener datos de huella hídrica y de carbono del tomate de industria.- aplicación versátil, adaptada a cada una de las industrias miembros del GO.- independencia y confidencialidad en la gestión de datos de las distintas industrias.- crear plan para reducir la huella hídrica y de carbono en las industrias transformadoras.- permitir la replicabilidad en otras industrias y la continuidad en éstas.

Activity 3: Creation of the TomPrint tool.

Additional comments
La huella de carbono es un indicador que a través de un inventario mide la producción de gases efecto invernadero (GEI) generado por las diferentes actividades de personas, empresas, eventos, etc., que se derivan de la producción de energía, quema de combustibles fósiles (como el carbón, el petróleo y el gas natural), generación de metano por los residuos generados y otras actividades productoras de GEI. La huella hídrica es un indicador que incluye el consumo de agua directo e indirecto de un consumidor o productor).
