El proyecto GO DRONSafe tiene como objetivo principal impulsar el uso de los vehículos aéreos no tripulados como herramienta segura para realizar aplicaciones de productos fitosanitarios, buscando avanzar en su marco regulatorio y estableciendo escenarios de uso reales con los que promover su posible categorización diferente al tratamiento aéreo.

Con este proyecto se quiere demostrar la necesidad de adaptar un marco regulatorio, en el que el uso de drones debe dejar de ser considerado como una aplicación aérea para pasar a formar parte de una categoría distinta a la de las aplicaciones aéreas, lo que redundará en beneficio del sector productor ya que de esta manera se facilitará la puesta en el mercado de una tecnología útil y segura que pueda ser utilizada por el agricultor y el silvicultor

The project results will facilitate the use of drones in the application of plant protection products, providing producers with a useful and environmentally friendly tool. Additionally, there will be a demonstration under real conditions that the proposed application solutions constitute an economic improvement for the sector, enabling precise applications that avoid overtreatment and contribute to the economic efficiency and competitiveness of the farms that adopt them.The results of this project will lead to social benefits by increasing the alternatives for applying plant protection products with a new tool, the drone, and reducing the number of requests for aerial treatments, thereby meeting the objectives of the Sustainable Use Directive regarding the prohibition of aerial treatments.
