Activities

Through this project, you are preparing the draft plan for the Fieldlab Kas of Future. In Fieldlab, entrepreneurs, educational and research institutions and public authorities will work together on technical and social innovations for greenhouse horticulture in Westland. The aim is to achieve ways of producing with more sustainable water and space management, less use of harmful raw materials and consumables, and more nature conservation and biodiversity in the environment. The current project concerns the design phase of the Fieldlab, resulting in: a draft plan, multi-annual budget and funding and cooperation agreement for the Fieldlab. This design brings together local entrepreneurs, local authorities and experts.


Activities

Middels dit project maakt u het ontwerpplan voor het Fieldlab Kas van Toekomst. In dat fieldlab gaan ondernemers, onderwijs-en onderzoeksinstellingen en overheden samenwerken aan technische en sociale innovaties voor de glastuinbouw in het Westland. Doel is te komen tot manieren van produceren met duurzamer water- en ruimtebeheer, minder gebruik van schadelijke grond- en hulpstoffen, en meer natuurbehoud en biodiversiteit in de omgeving. Huidig project betreft de ontwerpfase van het fieldlab, met als resultaat: een ontwerpplan, de meerjarenbegroting- en financiering en samenwerkingsovereenkomst voor het fieldlab. Bij dit ontwerp trekken lokale ondernemers, lokale overheden en experts samen op.

1 Practice Abstracts

In the project, we develop the design plan for the Fieldlab Greenhouse of the Future. In the Fieldlab, entrepreneurs, educational and research institutions, and governments are working together on technical and social innovations. Together, they seek solutions for the area-specific task in greenhouse horticulture in the Westland for sustainable water and space management, nature conservation and biodiversity, and reduction of the use of harmful raw and auxiliary materials. In the design phase, the project partners are preparing the development and operation of the Fieldlab. The planned activities are entirely focused on developing the project plan including multi-year budget and financing, the cooperation agreement and the design plan for the Fieldlab Greenhouse of the Future. We are doing this in close cooperation with all stakeholders such as entrepreneurs in the region, local authorities and experts. With them we will make an inventory of the problems, solution directions and the activities that will take place from the Fieldlab.

In het project ontwikkelen we het ontwerpplan voor het Fieldlab Kas van Toekomst. In het Fieldlab werken ondernemers, onderwijs-en onderzoeksinstellingen en overheden samen aan technische en sociale innovaties. Gezamenlijk zoeken zij naar oplossingen voor de gebiedsgerichte opgave in de glastuinbouw in het Westland voor duurzaam water- en ruimtebeheer, natuurbehoud en biodiversiteit en vermindering van het gebruik van schadelijke grond- en hulpstoffen. In de ontwerpfase bereiden de projectpartners de ontwikkeling en exploitatie van het Fieldlab voor. De geplande activiteiten zijn volledig gericht op het ontwikkelen van het projectplan inclusief meerjarenbegroting en -financiering, de samenwerkingsovereenkomst en het ontwerpplan voor het Fieldlab Kas van de Toekomst. We doen dit in nauwe samenwerking met alle betrokkenen zoals ondernemers in de regio, lokale overheden en experts. Met hen inventariseren we de problematiek, de oplossingsrichtingen en de activiteiten die vanuit het Fieldlab zullen plaatsvinden.
