Objectives
Measure A - Concept development:
Aim ist to design an energy management platform for the dairy value chain ("DairyChainEnergy" platform). With the help of the platform, the following problems from the practice shall be solved:
- Lack of (real-time) transparency of energy and C02 balance in the dairy value chain
- Little knowledge for the farmer on how to reduce energy costs under holistic consideration of the dairy farm
- Limited options for selling the dairy farm's own electricity
Objectives
Maßnahme A - Konzepterstellung:
Ziel ist die Konzeptionierung einer Energiemanagement-Plattform adressiert für die Wertschöpfungskette Kuhmilch ("DairyChainEnergy" Plattform). Mithilfe der Plattform sollen folgende Probleme aus der Praxis gelöst werden:
- Fehlende (Echtzeit-) Transparenz zur Energiebilanz und C02-Bilanz in der Wertschöpfungskette Kuhmilch
- Wenig Kenntnisse beim Landwirt zur Reduktion von Energiekosten unter holistischer Betrachtung des Milchviehbetriebs
- Wenige Absatzmöglichkeiten für Eigenstrom des Milchviehbetriebs
Activities
The project activities for the project idea (measure A) are divided into 2 main areas:
1) Building the business concept of the "DairyChainEnergy" platform
- Definition of the value proposition and the application scope
- Definition of B2B strategy for partnerships
- Definition of a marketing/ and communication strategy
- Preparation of a cost and revenue plan for implementation
2) Developing the IT concept of the "DairyChainEnergy" platform
- Development of a requirements catalog
- Definition of a business capability map
- Creation of a rough concept for the platform architecture
- Creation of an IT risk assessment and a data flow diagram stand
Activities
Die Projektaktivitäten für die Projektidee (Maßnahme A) untergliedern sich in 2 Hauptbereiche:
1) Erstellung des Business Konzepts der "DairyChainEnergy" Plattform
- Definition der Value Proposition und des Applikationsumfangs
- Definition der B2B Strategie für Partnerschaften
- Definition einer Marketing-/ und Kommunikationsstrategie
- Erstellung einer Kosten- und Umsatzplanung für die Umsetzung
2) Erstellung des IT Konzepts der "DairyChainEnergy" Plattform
- Erstellung eines Anforderungskatalogs
- Definition einer Business Capability Map
- Erstellung eines Grobkonzepts für die Plattformarchitektur
- Erstellung einer IT Risiko Bewertung und eines Datenflussdiagramms
Kontext
The idea was triggered by the rising costs for farms and the declining profitability of cow's milk production. A major driver for this is the energy management of agricultural enterprises (rising energy prices and the potential of agricultural enterprises to generate their own electricity and heat). The intention of energy management across the value chain is to reduce costs in the production of cow's milk (e.g. by saving electricity) and to increase turnover (e.g. by selling energy data to other actors of the milk value chain).
Auslöser für die Idee waren die steigenden Kosten für landwirtschaftliche Betriebe bzw. die sinkende Profitabilität bei der Herstellung von Kuhmilch. Ein wesentlicher Treiber hierfür ist das Energiemanagement landwirtschaftlicher Betriebe (vor dem Hintergrund steigender Energiepreise und dem Potential landwirtschaftlicher Betriebe zur Erzeugung von Eigenstrom und Wärme). Mit einem wertschöpfungsketten-übergreifenden Energiemanagement soll die Intention verfolgt werden, Kosten bei der Herstellung von Kuhmilch zu senken (z.B. durch Einsparung von Strom) und Umsätze zu erhöhen (z.B. durch Verkauf von Energiedaten an andere Akteure der Wertschöpfungskette Milch).
