Objectives

To draw up and implement in practice a robotic, autonomous platform Latvijas iDārzs (Latvian i-Garden) that will ensure plant monitoring and tending function as well as automation and digitalization of the production process.

Objectives

Izstrādāt un praktiski ieviest robotizētu, autonomu platformu "Latvijas iDārzs", kas nodrošinās augu monitoringa un kopšanas funkciju, kā arī ražošanas procesu automatizāciju un digitalizāciju.

Activities

Within the project, research will be carried out to master new knowledge and skills, regarding operation of the robotic platform iDārzs as well as a prototype of iDārzs with integrated modules of cameras and sensors, equipment and software will be developed in the laboratory environment. In addition, sensors and cameras, intended for the platform, will be tested at a laboratory as well as the plant data collection algorithm will be developed. The information system structure will also be developed. It is envisaged to practically test the platform prototype as well as to approbate its usability while performing actual tasks.

Activities

Projekta laikā tiks veikti pētījumi, ar mērķi iegūt jaunas zināšanas un prasmes par robotizētas platformas iDārzs darbību, kā arī laboratorijas vidē tiks izstrādāts platformas iDārzs prototips ar integrētiem kameru un sensoru, aparatūras un programmatūras moduļiem. Papildus tam, tiks veikta platformai paredzēto sensoru un kameru testēšana laboratorijā, kā arī augu datu savākšanas un apkopošanas algoritma izstrāde. Tiks izstrādāta informācijas sistēmas struktūra. Paredzēts praktiski pārbaudīt platformas prototipu, kā arī aprobēt tā lietojamību reālu uzdevumu veikšanā.
