In the second year of the project, we analyzed 5 selected services in detail and according to various parameters, which were determined for further analysis.

The analysis parameters are divided into three main groups:

1. availability of information and capabilities

2. user experience

3. system limitations.

Within the 1st group, we observed the availability of HQ photos, the amount of records, meteorological data, various indexes, and the ability to log activities if they exist. When it comes to user experience, we considered the interface layout, ease of use, the ability to automatically enter particles, and add meteorological stations. In the 3rd group, we paid attention to package prices, system errors, and the loading speed of the selected service.

University professors also participated in the review of the services as part of the project's expert advice. In the second year of the project, we also kept online detailed records of all activities in the project plantations of farmers involved in the project (farmer (Omazić), fruit grower (Bašić), winegrower (Gerstmayer)).

We have identified several key events within the production season for each of the agricultural producers, in order to also observe these events through the selected services.

By comparing the same events within different services, we gain additional insights into the capabilities of each service, all with the aim of providing recommendations for use, but also selecting the final tool for integration into Agroklub.

In the first year of the SatelitFoto @ AgroHR project, a detailed analysis of the market of satellite photography service providers (with application in agriculture) was made. Finally, the expert jury selected 5 services that were determined for further analysis. Additionally (and parallel with other activities) we recorded details of all activities in the project plantations of farmers involved in the project (farmer (Omazić), fruit grower (Bašić), winegrower (Gerstmayer)). Recorded activities were compared with satellite records, in terms of checking the possibility of daily use of these tools and services. We have divided the tools into groups: from public and free low-resolution (10cm pixels) to high-end private investors (50cm pixels). On the other hand, we compared the work of Internet services that offer satellite imagery and other types of information: meteorological data from the same sites, information on farm management, as well as those that offer different application interfaces for further connections etc. We studied indexes in applications as well as other practical aspects of use: data loading capabilities and additional application functionalities. All that with the aim of giving recommendations for use, but also choosing the final tool for integration into the Agroklub.
