Objectives

The objective of this project is to produce references and technical and economic knowledge on the use of biodegradable mulch in organic and conventional systems on three crops: lettuce, leek and celery. Indeed, the conventional system is in a context of disappearance of the pivotal molecules of the herbicides traditionally used, which leads to a dead end and an additional cost of labor.
The project therefore aims to produce successful technical itineraries using this mulch on the two agronomic systems on these three crops strongly present in the region.

Objectives

L’objectif de ce projet est de produire des références et des connaissances techniques et économiques sur l’utilisation du paillage biodégradable en système biologiques et conventionnel sur trois cultures : salade, poireau et céleri. En effet, le système conventionnel se trouve dans un contexte de disparition de molécules pivots des herbicides traditionnellement utilisés, ce qui conduit à une impasse et un surcoût en main d’œuvre.
Le projet vise donc à produire des itinéraires techniques aboutis utilisant ce paillage sur les deux systèmes agronomiques sur ces trois cultures fortement présentes dans la région.
