ClieNFarms – Horizon 2020 – towards carbon neutrality for farms

A project that aims to support oilseed farmers in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, in particular through the use of legumes, and in improving carbon storage in the soil. The project will demonstrate, evaluate and improve technical, organisational and financial solutions at the farm level that will contribute to achieving climate-neutrality of European agriculture by 2050.

UNTWIST – Horizon 2020 – Uncover and promote tolerance to temperature and water stress in Camelina sativa

Climatic variability and extreme weather events are increasingly impacting crop yield and value. UNTWIST addresses this challenge and will take advantage of the climate-resilient, traditional European oilseed crop camelina to provide a mechanistic understanding of successful adaptation strategies to drought and heat stress.

DiverIMPACTS – Horizon 2020 – Crop diversification

The project focused on diversification through rotation, intercropping, multiple cropping, promoted with actors and value-chains towards sustainability. The aim was to achieve the full potential of diversification of cropping systems for improved productivity, delivery of ecosystem services and resource-efficient and sustainable value chains. The project has now ended. Watch the final conference recording. Take a look at a number of policy briefs here on topics such as ‘Promoting crop diversification for more sustainable agri-food systems’. Many more useful materials can be found on their website.
